About

Knit Buffalo, LLC is the dream come true. Jenna began as a knitter, started dyeing yarn as 716knit, and dreamed about opening up her own yarn shop.

This journey began around Christmas 2013 when Jenna completed her business plan. In February 2014, Jenna and her father traveled to Pennsylvania to pick up the vehicle which would become Western New York’s first yarn truck. Through a lot of trial and error, DIY projects, and heavily modified fabrications, Knit Buffalo began to take shape. It was a community project with help from friends, neighbors, family, knitters, and even complete strangers.

Below are some photos that document the creation of the Knit Buffalo truck.
